Tinkham, Jr., expounds on Obad 10–14 in which the sins against Judah of the ancient nation of Edom are expounded, the prophet Obadiah reminds his readers that, though God, like a mother bear, may discipline and correct his people (as in Judah’s 70-year captivity to Neo-Babylonia), so too he fiercely protects his people against those who seek to do them harm (as the Edomite evils committed against the Jews).
